“Where did the happy little girl go, full of life, laughter, dreams?

I think I buried it under a pile of beliefs, laws, codes...

Maybe she's calling me.

Have I become deaf? "

This adventure began in September 2017 at the Louise Michel Center in Guénange. The project was to create a speech and theater workshop with women from the city's neighborhood around family ties and therefore testimony.

Several women went through this workshop, at first curious, often with the desire to testify, at least a little, then not really.

One of them remained, impetuous, diligent, committed. Overflowing with a desire for words, truth and theater.

Sadia Boubekeur is driven by a sort of urgency to tell the story of her life, from her joyful childhood to her daily life as a woman, from her dreams to her intimate demons. She had never set foot on a theater set before this adventure. She took to it easily, as if it were obvious, like a fish in water.

A local woman modestly recounts her life as a 50-year-old woman, in this small town near the Fensch Valley, Guénange, the city of her childhood. She sometimes summons other women, intellectuals or artists whose voices she listens attentively or amusedly. She uses the words of other authors with force and accuracy. They transcend her own words or say what she cannot say.
